Main responsibility is supporting generator interconnection and transmission planning related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the generation interconnection process of utility scale solar and energy storage projects, including pre-application feasibility analysis, interconnection application submission, interconnection study and agreement process, and construction milestone management.
  • Review and verify interconnection study results.
  • Coordinate with Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, EPC, and Operations teams to develop a strong pipeline of solar and energy storage projects.
  • Provide technical support for project acquisition activities.
  • Participate in RTO/ISO Generation Interconnection and other stakeholder forums and inform executive management of industry changes and trends.
  • Manage consultant and other service provider activities. Manage interconnection project accounts.

Candidate profile:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with power flow studies
  • Working knowledge of TARA preferred
  • Familiar with RTO/ISO interconnection process and tariff requirements
  • RTO/ISO experience preferred
  • Travel up to 25%
